The humanitarian organization Actus Bonitatis – Act of Kindness officially started its work with an aid campaign for children without parental care at the “Dr Milorad Pavlović” Children’s Village in Sremska Kamenica.

Thanks to people from Sremska Mitrovica, Šid, Vognje, Martinci and Jarak, and the support of two companies, the Village received packages of personal hygiene and cleaning supplies.

On that occasion, the organization’s president Miroslav Kukić and the Village’s director Mirko Jankelić signed a memorandum of cooperation, opening the way for more joint campaigns in the future.

The Children’s Village opened in 1975 as the first village of its kind in Southeast Europe. Today it is home to 98 children aged 7 to 18.

Thank you to everyone who took part – this is only the beginning.
