Actus Bonitatis officially founded in Sremska Mitrovica
After two years of humanitarian work and five large campaigns, the humanitarian organization Actus Bonitatis – Act of Kindness has been officially founded.

What began as an initiative of a few individuals has grown into an official organization. The humanitarian organization Actus Bonitatis – Act of Kindness has been founded in Sremska Mitrovica, and its founder and president Miroslav Kukić calls it the town’s first “humane family”.
Before founding the organization, its members carried out five large aid campaigns – for the “Čistog srca” Home at the Monastery of St. Petka of Izvor, the “Dr Milorad Pavlović” Children’s Village in Sremska Kamenica, the “Radivoj Popović” School and Petkovica Monastery on Fruška Gora. The aid collected is estimated at more than €10,000.
The response from citizens and companies showed how strong the wish to help is – and that was the push to give the work a formal, transparent framework. The organization currently has four members, and decisions about new campaigns are made together.
The name was not chosen by chance: the Latin words actus and bonitatis mean “act of kindness”. The goal was a name that belongs to no nation, faith or group.
